About Ceridwen Hazelchild Design

Ceridwen Hazelchild

Stroud-based illustrator, Ceridwen Hazelchild, designs and makes her whimsical, nature themed prints and lampshades from her Cotswold studio, drawing inspiration from the local British wildlife, natural world and childhood folktales.

“I believe that by expressing our creativity and encouraging eco-friendly behaviour, we can make our world more beautiful - which is why in 2011, I began designing a range of illustrated tote bags to help people reduce their plastic bag usage. Over the years I have expanded my product range to include homewares, accessories, and stationery, all lovingly made and adorned with my colourful illustrations. I draw inspiration from nature, tradition, and everyday objects, and use a mixture of natural textures alongside the cheerful colours of spring!

I love getting lost in a good book, long walks in the countryside, the colour turquoise, and I have a soft spot for science fiction and fantasy movies.”
