St George Art Trail - February 2019

For this year’s St George Art Trail I opened up the Ceridwen Hazelchild Design studio to the public, exhibiting alongside Bristol based enamel jewellery maker, Jonas Fenn Jewellery, in the scenic Avon Valley, and welcoming in local residents to browse handmade homewares and illustrated accessories.

I quite often find that there’s not enough space to exhibit the  whole range of Ceridwen Hazelchild Design lampshades, cushions, and tote bags when I exhibit at craft markets and handmade fairs, so leapt at the opportunity to fill the house to the brim with my handmade homewares. There was even space to put up a Sale Table, with lots of ‘seconds’ illustrated bags with minor print errors, and end of line products which have since been discontinued.

As the theme of this year’s Art Trail was Recycling, artists and visitors were encouraged to think about their use of plastic and way in which they could live more sustainably – which was a perfect time to work on my new aluminium water bottle range, and display my collection reusable cotton tote bags!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to show their support!
